The tournament, which ends Feb. 24, opens with an exhibition between Pete Sampras and Tommy Haas at 7 p.m. Monday. Second-seeded James Blake is scheduled to play his first match against a qualifier at 7 p.m. Tuesday, followed by third-seeded Haas vs. Robert Kendrick. Roddick is scheduled to face Vincent Spadea in his opening match at 7 p.m. Wednesday, followed by a doubles match featuring Bob and Mike Bryan. Roddick, Blake and the Bryans recently led the United States into the quarterfinals of the 2008 Davis Cup by defeating Austria on indoor clay in Vienna. Source! |
